Coronet Cup postponed
The Coronet Cup, one of the major events on the New Zealand ski-ing ' calendar, which was to have been held tomorrow, and Sunday, has been postponed because of a lack of snow at the venue, Coronet Peak.
A spokesman for the Mount Cook and Southern Lakes Tourist Company, which sponsors the event, said yesterday snbw conditions on the mountain were deterior-
ating. The event, which attracts the majority of the country’s top racers, may be held later in the season if the company can find a suitable date.
