Timely change
Western Australia will join other Australian states in the trial of daylight saving (summer) time beginning in October, the State Government has announced. Clocks will be advanced by one hour for the late spring and summer.* Western Australian standard time will thus remain two hours behind Eastern Australian time.—Perth, August 3.
