E. Pakistan claim

A -Reuter— Copyright) 1 ’ NEW DELHI, Aug. 3. ] The commander of the East Pakistan “liberation” forces has claimed, in an interview with the Press Tnist of India, that at least 20,000 Pakistan troops have been killed in armed encounters in the last , few months. Colonel A. G. Osmani is 1 quoted as saying that the Pakistan Army now controls ! only the towns, and that the 1 countryside is in the hands of the Mukti Bahini (“libera- < tion" forces).
