Meeting not unanimous
The meeting in Christchurch on Tuesday of representatives of 15 manu-factured-gas undertakings was not unanimous on the form of the future organisation of the industry. The chairman of the meeting, Mr R. J. Calvert, of Dunedin, was reported in “The Press” yesterday as having said that the meeting, which discussed the future of the manufacturers’ section of the industry, was unanimous. The error is regretted.
