JAPAN’S FIRST SUPERSONIC PLANE.—An XT2 fighter, the first Japanese - designed supersonic aircraft, which has just completed its first test flight from Nagoya Airport. Japan. The XT2 was developed by Mitsubishi by order of the Japan Defence Agency as part of the country’s fourth defence programme.
