Miss Scott near goal

Miss; Sheila Scott, aged 43, the' first woman to fly solo in a light aircraft over the North Pole, touched down for a brief stay at Karachi yesterday after flying from Madras on her round-the-world flight. Miss Scott refuelled her Piper Aztec and left for Bahrain, where she plans to rest for a few hours before flying on to Athens and London. She took off from London on June 22 and, six days later, crossed the North Pole. Since then she has flown across the Pacific to Australia, making stops in Singapore, India and, now, Pakistan on the homeward journey.
