Training for industry
(N.Z. Press Association)WELLINGTON, Ailg. 3. An industrial training service was being established within the Labour Department, said the Minister of Labour (Mr Marshall) today. It would help firms to diagnose their general and specific training needs, present and future, and advise how and where these needs might best be met. The service would maintain close liaison with training and educational institutions to make full use of their facilities, said >Mr Marshall.
