Slazenger squash
(N.Z. Pre** AMOciation) PALMERSTON NORTH. The bi-annual squash competition between Australia and New Zealand for the Slazenger trophy ' will be played during the international series this month. The first Contest is to be played today in Palmerston North. The Australian team is K. Hiscoe, C. Nancarrow and G- Hunt. The New Zealand team will be selected from C. Waugh (captain), L. Greene, T. Johnston and D. Burmiester.
The international teams match between Australia and New Zealand at Remuera on August 11 will count as the second contest and the third contest will be held at Hamilton on August 18.
