Lower-grade Rugby footballers throughout New Zealand can expect greater Incentives in the near future. That was the view of »Ir M. R. Barnett, the Canterbury Rugby Union’s representative on the New Zealand Rugby Football Union’s special committee to investigate lower-grade football, when he reported to the C.R.F.U. management committee last evening. Mr Barnett, who attended a special meeting of the Investigating committee In Wellington on Monday, said the meeting had discussed many subjects, but he did not provide any details"It’s obvious that the New Zealand union is determined to do all It can to promote Junior football to the utmost and provide Incentives through all the grades," Mr Barnett said.
