Appeals by Y.W.C.A.
The Y.W.C.A. of Christchurch is asking for used cotton clothing to send to the Y.W.C.A. of Lautoka, Fiji. It hopes to be able to send a carton of cotton garments to Fiji next month, according to its July newsletter. The clothing will be sold by the Y.W.C.A. of Lautoka to raise funds for its work. The Christchurch Y.W.C.A. is also supporting a special appeal by the Y.W.C.A. of India to help provide emergency services for refugees from East Pakistan. The Christchurch board of directors has agreed to give $5O to the project. Further donations are wanted.
