NOTIFIABLE DISEASES
Five cases of infective hepatitis were among the notifiable diseases reported in the Christchurch health district for the week ended July 17, the Deputy Medical Officer of Health (Dr D. A. Andrews) reported yesterday. There were also seven cases of hookworm involving soldiers who had returned from overseas, two cases of pulmonary tuberculosis, and one case of food poisoning.
