PRIESTS’ SENATE
Submissions on the renewal of the priestly life were passed at a meeting of the Priests’ Senate in Christchurch on Wednesday. The submissions will be presented to the Synod of Bishops in Rome in October. They have been prepared at diocesan level on a worldwide scale for more than two years in response to a Vatican Council decision to investigate the total renewal of the priestly life.
