The company’s activities have so far been mainly in mining and ore processing but the General Manager need have no experience of this type of operation. Mining could in a few years be relatively less important because the company has embarked on expansion into related primary, secondary and tertiary industries. .For example, the company has surplus facilities and resources in land, power and water which can be applied to the development of entirely new industries. These in turn will create need for housing, shopping and transport etc. The person required will be professionally qualified and an experienced manager with the ability to plan and direct the company’s activities and achieve increasing profits. He will have qualified technical support but will need to recruit and train additional staff as required. CONDITIONS: The location is scenically and climatically attractive and although the local European population is small, a major centre is within two hours by road. There are excellent local recreational facilities. The salary negotiations will be very flexible indeed and will include arrangements for children's education overseas, etc. if necessary. Benefits include a good house, car. leave and travel allowances and superannuation.
