This alteration to take effect from August 1, 1971. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Christchurch City Council proposes at its meeting to be held at 8.00 p.m. on Monday, July 19, 1971, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Authorities Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of *1,280,000 for the purpose of reconstructing the Centennial Pool to meet the international standards necessary for the 1974 Commonwealth Games. It is proposed that the security for repayment of the loan and the Interest thereon shall be a Special Rate of $.000535 (decimal nought nought nought five three five) in the dollar, on the rateable value, on .the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch.
