Bales of hay destroyed
(From Our Own Report"/ TIMARU, June 15. Volunteer fire fighters, members of the Timaru Fire Brigade, and firemen manning a 1000 gallon tanker unit from the Pleasant Point Fire Brigade, fought a fire in a haystack on the property of Mr W. I. Phillips, Kerta Road, Seadown. foY three hours from 1.37 p.m. today. Twelve thousand bales of hay were destroyed in the fire, the cause of which has not been established.
