20-14 win to Queensland

BRISBANE.
Queensland defeated Sydney 20-14 in a Wallaby ' Trophy match yesterday. Queensland led 14-3 at ' half-time and looked set for 1 a comfortable win until the Sydney forwards, magnifi- ■ cently led by the Wallaby 1 captain, G. Davis, dominated ■ play in the second half. Sydney narrowed the gap with a converted try soon ' after the resumption and levelled the scores with two penalties. But Queensland rallied in the final stages and the wing, R. Miller, went , over for a try, and G. Richardson kicked a penalty.
