W. Thompson), r Mr Thompson, speaking at f a Hotel Association manage- a ment seminar in Invercargill, r said the National Society on t Alcoholism had first made a t plea at a news media forum r arranged by liquor council in t Auckland last month, and s since then public support had t been reflected in a number of ‘ newspaper editorial articles. The only response from the Health Department had been i to restate that the Queen! Mary Hospital at Hanmer i Springs would have to be; closed because of economic! and staff recruitment pro-I blems. I
