Bridge title to Auckland
(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. Auckland club won the New Zealand teams-of-four contract bridge tournament in Palmerston North during the week-end. The winning team held an unassailable position in the final session after leading from early in the tournament. The Northern club (Auckland) team, which has won the tournament for the last four years, finished in second place after lying fifth at the start of the final session. Results were:— Auckland dub (J.
