Duties to commence as soon as possible after August. 1971. PSYCHOLOGY Preference will be given to those interested in the field of Mathematical Psychology or that of the gustatory and olfactory senses. ZOOLOGY Fellowships are available in the fields of ecology of rocky shores and shallow littoral substrates; limnology of lakes and wildlife biology. The emolument will be $4OOO per annum. Fellowships are tenable normally for one year, but with the possibility of extension. It is anticipated that the appointee will have completed a Ph.D., and will show evidence of strong research interest in some particular field of chemistry. The emolument for the position is in the range $4300 to $5500 per annum. When the salary is being decided, due account will be taken of the appointee’s return travel costs. Honours degree in plant science (agriculture, botany or forestry) necessary. Tenable for two years commencing July 1, 1971, but may be extended. (May 15.) The department teaches a full range of physics courses up to Ph.D. level. In addition to possessing the general qualifications required of a senior lecturer or lecturer in physics, the person appointed to this position must be qualified to teach the principles of electronic circuits and devices and their applications.
