Stolen drugs recovered
Drug squad detectives have recovered the narcotics, worth several thousand dollars on the black market, which were stolen last month from H. F. Stevens, Ltd, a Wainoni drug - processing company.
Detectives dug up the drugs at a plantation at Chaneys Comer on Wednesday. The drugs were in liquid, pill and powder form. It was the biggest quantity of drugs stolen in Christchurch; all have been recovered.
They were worth $461, but would have fetched at least $3OOO on the black market in Christchurch.
