Outsize boots
“One of the board’s Fijians caused a slight problem and some sensation when it was discovered that he needed a pair of size 15 boots,” the operations manager (Mr D. W. McClellan) told a meeting of the North Canterbury Nassella Tussock Board yesterday. “Most boot manufacturers don’t cater for this size, but I was fortunate, after approaching many firms, to find one to make the boots.”
