FISHERGIRLS REPLACE FISHERMEN.—Chinese girls of the Hsia an Production Brigade in the Fukien Province of China hauling in the nets off the coast to supply their area with fish. The girls are also members of the militia and train with rifles for coastal defence duty. Their taking over fishing has released the men for other work.
