Tasman air increase
(N Z. Press Association/ AUCKLAND, April 20. Air traffic between New Zealand and Australia for May promised to be 25 per cent up on last year’s traffic for the month, said the director of commercial services for Air New Zealand (Mr J. B. Wisdom) today. An international Rotary convention, expected to attract more than 4000 Americans and 1000 New Zealanders to Sydney, would be largely responsible for the increase, said Mr Wisdom. Traffic between Fiji and New Zealand was showing a 35 per cent increase on last May and three additional flights had been arranged.
