Chinese to tour U.S.
(N .Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) WASHINGTON, April 21. China’s table tennis players would tour the United States to help along the people-to-people thaw in Chinese-American relations—but United States officials today were not sure when to expect them.
The only vague estimate officials were able to give was that the visit would take place within the next year. ' There was no indication from either the State Department or from Mr Graham Steenhove, president of the United States Table Tennis Association, whether the Chinese leaders would act promptly or sit back a while to see how the diplomatic climate develops.
