Some sharp falls in mixed Australian trading
Mining shares eased in moderate trading on Australian stock exchanges yesterday. Oils! were slightly easier and industrials were mixed in quiet trading. C.R.A. dropped 60c to 1140 c, new B.H. shed 30c to 1330 c. Selected leading issues were stronger. Hammersley put on 4c to 550 c. Utah firmed 2c to 417 c and Peko rose 20c to 1090 c. B.H. South, Norseman, Lefroy, Seicast, Great Boulder, and Loloma also lost 5c each. Mount Isa Mining, Tas-
minex, and West Coast all 1 gained sc. Poseidon and Queensland | Mines both eased 50c. Oils were quiet and slightly (easier. Bridge shed 2c to !38c, and Woodside lost the same amount to 38c.
