The Rev. J. F. B. Keith, vicar of the Anglican parish of St Peter’s, Riccarton for the last seven years, has been appointed vicar of the parish of Waimate. He will take up his new position towards the end of September. The Rev. P. Ritchie, Anglican vicar of Brooklyn, has been appointed vicar of the parish of Linwood to sueseed the Rev. G. Fitzgerald. Mr Ritchie was ordained in 1955 and served a curacy in Masterton before spending about four years in parishes in South Africa. He was appointed to his present position in 1962.
