VISIT TO PRISON
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Mar. 29. The Minister of Justice (Mr Riddiford) would visit Mount Eden Prison this week, said the Prime Minister (Sir Keith Holyoake) after a meeting of the Cabinet this afternoon. Mr Riddiford had given a full report on the recent riot at the prison, he said. The Minister would discuss the situation with prison officials, magistrates, and other parties, said Sir Keith Holyoake.
