Cholmondeley Home officers
The seventy-first annual meeting of the Cholmondeley Children’s Home One.), which was held at the home in Governor’s Bay last Saturday, was well attended. A record number of children, 257, were admitted last year, compared with only 227 admissions the year before, said the president (Mr C. L. Paterson) in his report Miss P. Hollander, a former vice-president, was made a life member on her retirement after 17 years service. Officers elected were:— Patron, Mr E. A Adams; president, Mr C. L. Paterson; vice-presidents, Mr J. K. Austad, Messrs J. B. Durie and O. L. Lulham; secretary-trea-surer, Mrs E. Blackbum; members of the board, Misses M. Best and E. Neville, Mesdames A. G. Flower, C. G. Crawford and L. Scott, Messrs T. S. G. Bentley, R. H. Blatchford, I. D. Cain, F. P. Frye and R. Hanna.
