The final round of matches in the Canterbury Cricket Association’s lower grade competitions was completed on Saturday. Results: — Second grade A Hagley Old Boys 101 and 227 (Fox 76, Black 35, Andrews 30; Cottrell 5/37. Kyle 3/60) beat Old Collegians 151 and 160 (Beadel 61, Guthrey 30 not out; Gatehouse 3/24, Hamilton 4/41) outright. Lancaster Park 316 (Wilson 93, Smith 64. Foster 39, Smith 30; Knowles 6/98) and 20/1 beat EastShirley 176 (Ripley 45; Bracewell 7/31) and 177 (Sutherland 63, Hearn 33, Fowler 30; Wilson 3/45, Bracewell 3/52) on the first innings. St Albans 255/9 declared beat Riccarton 96 and 212/7 on the first innings. Second grade B St Andrew’s 215/2 declared (McEwan 103 not out, Pither 73 not out) and 5/0 beat Lancaster Park 146 (Abbott 4/59) and 133 (Harrison 44; Abbott 5/41, McEwan 5/61) on the first innings. Hagley Old Boys 212/9 (Gray 39 not out, Wooders 39; Lewington 3/28, Doig 4/56) beat High School Old Boys 206 (Gray 3/Z7) on the first innings.

Lancaster Park 181 and 52/1 beat Shirley Boys’ High School 170 (Tainui 34; Frost 4/17, Lublow 3/45) on the first innings. East-Shirley 188/6 declared (Morris 47, Teague 31; Kirk 3/49) and 87/6 beat Xavier 183 (Cogle 46; Lynch 3/53) and 90 (Kirk 45; Anderson 5/21, Lynch 4/39) by four wickets.
Third grade A Old Collegians 116 and 73 (Winter 7/24) beat St Albans 75 and 30/3 on the first innings.
Third grade B West-University A 81/0 declared (Houliston 41 not out, Hedwig 40 not out) beat Sydenham A 22 (Pepper 7/4, Lamb 3/16) and 21/5 (Pepper 4/12) on the first innings. Hagley Old Boys A 102/8 declared (Corbin 39; Schulz 6/14) drew with Hagley Old Boys B. East-Shirley A 85 (Fairbairn 7/34) drew with Old Collegians 9/1.
President's grade St Albans 76/1 (Poore 49 not out) beat Marist 68 (Poore 4/18) on the first innings. Sydenham 67 (Crittenden 30; Prout 4/21. Thompson 4/32) drew with West-University 10/0. High School Old Boys B 132 (Dorreen 49; Stanley 5/41) drew with East-Shirley.
