DOG FEES CUT
HVX Press Aisociation) AUCKLAND, March 25. Dog owners in Auckland will have less to pay for licensing and hydatids dosing from April 1. The charge has been $4 for the last few jrears, but for the normal pet, it will now be $3.60. A pensioner will pay $2.80, instead of last year’s $3. For working dogs it will be $2.20 instead of $2.60. The fees had been reduced because of lower costs of dog dosing said a council spokesman. The reduction applies only to the Auckland City Council.
