RATE D —Domestic General (00) Availability: Domestic premises for all consumption other than controlled water or space heating. Churches, kindergartens, public halls, schools, dental clinics, community buildings, sports clubs, youth dens for all general consumption. Supply charge: 80c per month. Rate: All units at 1.4 c per unit. RATE H —Heat Storage Ranges (06) Availability: All heat storage type electric ranges. Rate: 45c per 100 watts per month. RATE Z—Uncontrolled Sink Water-Heating (05) Availability: Domestic sink water heaters up to 2 gallons capacity. Rate: $1.05 per month flat rate.

RATE W—Controlled General (03) Availability: All central storage water heating cylinders, all approved thermal storage space heating and other permanently connected services approved by the Board. Rate: 0.83 c per unit. For water heating, the Board reserves the right to restrict supply to an average of 20 hours per day, and for other approved services the Board reserves the right to restrict supply at this rate to the period between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. RATE C—Commercial (14) and Farm General (04) Availability: Commercial premises for all consumption other than controlled supply and farm premises for all consumption other than domestic, controlled or summer supply. Supply charge: 80c per month. Rate: All units at 2.3 c per unit. RATE T—Summer Availability: Permanently connected services approved by Board where supply is required solely between October and March, e.g. spray irrigation, grain or hay drying. Rate: $2 per kW connected per annum plus all units at 0.6 c per unit. RATE U—Uncontrolled Water Heating (12) Rate: 1.55 c per unit. Availability: Commercial central storage cylinders. RATE V—Under Veranda LightHAvailability: Lighting of public footpaths from underneath verandas fitted to commercial premises at Board’s option. Board provides, maintains and controls fittings. Rate: 100W incandescent fitting, $1 per month flat rate; 80W fluorescent fitting, $1.25 per month flat rate. RATE F—Floodlighting (15) Availability: Floodlighting of buildings and land. Board provides, maintains and controls fittings. Rate: 1000W incandescent fitting, $5 per month flat rate; 125W mercury vapour lantern, $1.90 per month flat rate.

RATE I—lndustrial General Availability: For consumers at the Board’s discretion. Rate: $8 per kWV per calendar quarter plus 0.62 c per unit. Where the consumers power factor is not less than 0.95 the M.D. charge will be based on kW. DOMESTIC SUPPLY RATE M—Domestic General Availability: General domestic supply except • approved water heating and all supply to halls, churches, etc. Minimum charge: 30c per month net. Rate: $1.75 per 1000 cu. ft for first 1000 cu. ft per month, balance at $1.55 per 1000 cu. ft. RATE P—Domestic Water HeatnAvallabiiity: Approved central storage cylinders in domestic premises. Minimum charge: 30c per month net. Rate: 95c per 1000 cu. ft. COMMERCIAL SUPPLY RATE O—Commercial Supply Availability: Commercial premises. Minimum charge: 30c per month net. Rate: $1.75 per 1000 cu. ft. RATE R—Commercial Cooking Availability: Hotels, boarding houses, pastrycooks, etc. Minimum charge: 30c per month net. Rate: $1.75 per 1000 cu. ft for first 4000 cu. ft per month, $1.45 per 1000 cu. ft for next 6000 cu. ft per month, $1.35 per 1000 cu. ft for balance. RATE S—Large Installations. Availability: For consumers at the Board’s discretion. Rate: $1.40 1000 cu. ft for first 5000 cu. ft per month, $1.25 per 1000 cu. ft for balance. In addition to- the rhtes specified in the above schedule, an additional sum of 10 per cent shall be added as part of the basic rate in each case, with a maximum of $1 on any one account. and each account shall be subject to a reduction of the amount so added if it is paid within 14 days of the date on which the account is rendered. 34614
