TIBETAN COMMUNITY IN FRANCE.—Twenty young Tibetans, 10 boys and 10 girls, have been studying at the College of General Education at Bleneau, in the Yonne region of France, since 1965. Uprooted by the Chinese invasion of Tibet in 1959, they came to France with their families in 1962. They have assimilated most of the French ways of life, but still live as a closed community, worshipping Buddha and the Dalai Lama. A group are shown walking through a narrow street in Bleneau.
