House fire
A small fire in a house at 23 Stoneyhurst Street, Merivale, at 7.30 a.m. yesterday, was out .when one unit from St Albans and one from the Central Fire Station arrived. There was little damage. One unit from the Central Fire Station was called out to hose away fuel spilt at the comer of Tuam Street and Oxford Terrace about 8.30 a.m. yesterday. It is not known how the spillage occurred.
Accident at Ham.—A collision between a bicycle and a car in the Ham University car park at 9 am. yesterday, Resulted in the cyclist, Liew See Yee, of 86 Division Street, Riccarton, fracturing his right wrist and damaging his teeth. He was not admitted to hospital.
