INCREASED CHARGES
A.A. motor camps Increased charges at Automobile Association (Canterbury) motor camps were approved last evening by the association’s council.
The nightly charges at the Hanmer camp were increased by 50c for graded cabins, and 20c for camping sites. At the Carter’s Beach camp nightly charges for three-star cabins were increased by 50c and for the camp-sites, by 20c. The council was told that membership of the association was now 73,450. During February, patrols helped 325 motorists, erected 120 signs and travelled 14,613 miles. The technical department checked 380 cars.
