Preparing for coach’s visit
The final arrangements for the visit to Christchurch of the national soccer coach (Mr B. Truman) on April 13 will be made at the next meeting of the Canterbury Soccer Coaches’ Association at Western Park on Monday, April 5. Mr Truman is to hold a course for the national preliminaty badge, as well as supervise the training of Canterbury’s international squad members. The coaches’ association recently elected its officers. They are: Messrs I. Steer (secretary), R. C. Carter, P. Gooding, R. Shuyt and B. Henderson (committee).
