(N.Z. Press Association) GREYMOUTH. The touring Goldfields Rugby team won the second match of its South Island tour yesterday, beating a West Coast XV, 24 to 11. Points for the winning team came from tries by P. Murdoch, I. Begbie, J. Hodge, K. Macfarlane and R. Patterson (2), J. Magill converted three and kicked a penalty. F. O’Donnell, D. Bryce and R. Hibbs, scored tries for Coast, and P. Nolan converted one.
