Cricket Assn angry
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The Auckland Cricket Association has learned that eight out of the nine days of Plunket Shield cricket in Auckland next year could be played during the middle, of the week. The chairman (Mr K. Jagger) has described the
suggested programme by the New Zealand council as “utterly and totally unacceptable.” He said there was not one Saturday or Sunday included in the suggested programme. It was resolved that the executive produce something more satisfactory than the present proposals.
