Buchanan to defend

K. Buchanan, of Scotland, the world light-weight champion, will defend his title against I. Laguna (Panama) in a 15-round bout at Madison Square Garden on June 9, Associated Press reported. Buchanan took the title from Laguna last September on a 15-round decision.
The Edinburgh left-hander has a record of 40 victories, one defeat and 14 knock-outs. Laguna, twice a former champion, has a record of 63 wins, seven defeats, one draw and 36 knock-outs.
