BELFAST MISHAP
Bullet kills soldier IN.Z P.A.-Reuter— Copi/righO BELFAST, March 24. Another British soldier died in Belfast yesterday, after he had been accidentally shot by one of his colleagues. The accident occurred as troops were investigating an explosion in the Bray Street area of the city. The soldier, who has not been identified, was hit by a bullet from a sub-machine gun. He was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital, but died during an emergency operation. He was the seventh British soldier to die in Ulster. Three were killed during street rioting in Belfast, and three others were shot through the head in a lonely lane just outside the city.
