LEOPOLD NL SUSPENDED
Assay method in question (N.Z.P.A.-Keute'r—Copvright) SYDNEY, March 24. The shares of Leopold Minerals NL have been suspended from official quotation until further notice the Sydney Stock Exchange announced today. The suspension was made at the request of the chairman of the company, Mr A. Treloar. The statement said the suspension Will remain until Srocedures adopted in assayig of cores have been clarified.
The results of the assays were reported to the Sydney Stock Exchange on March 19, and the shares rose from 100 c before the report to a high of about 850 c before the suspension. The company also advises that Mr R. Constable has resigned as a director of the company. Mr Constable said that he had resigned from the company after a field visit to the company’s prospect.
