More radio, TV reports
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The New Zealand Rugby League is to seek greater television and radio coverage for games this season. At its usual pre-season meeting with N.Z.B.C. officials, it sought a broader coverage of international games, both home and away. The chairman of the New Zealand League (Mr R. McGregor) said yesterday: "Although television rights are always available to the N.Z.8.C., provided agreement, has been reached on a fee, visits here by overseas teams have not'been very adequately covered. “This was not the case, however, in the recent World Cup when the N.Z.B.C. showed all our games and the final. This is the sort of coverage the New Zealand council is trying to arrange."
