The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Canterbury District Law Society: president, Mr B. L. Stanley; vice-presi-dent, Mr R. E. Wylie; honorary treasurer, Mr A. D. Holland; council, Messrs K. W Frampton, D. H. Godfrey, A. Hearn, P. G. S. Penlington. J. A. Robertson, and N. W. Williamson; secretary, Mr I. D. Wood.
