Progress on Wahine

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Mar. 22. Salvage of the Wahine wreck will take another 18 months. A spokesman from the salvage ship Holmpark said today that the work of clearing debris and cutting steel on the wreck was proceeding normally. Sections of the ship are being removed toward the main shipping channel. The sections are lifted and shipped ashore. Two boilers are standing on the Taranaki Street wharf.
