Hit-and-run suspected

(N Z. Press Associations GORE. March 22. The Gore Police have appealed for information from the public after the death in the Gore Hospital today of a young man, who was found injured beside his car yesterday. They are treating the accident as a case of hit-and-run. The victim was

William Alexander Asbery, single, aged 22, a freezing worker, of Gore.

Mr Asbery was found by a passing motorist about 4.15 a.m. yesterday on State Highway 1, a mile south of Brydone. He was lying on the roadside at the back of his car. He died in the Gore Hospital at 4.15 a.m. today.
