Results of the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association’s lower grades on Saturday were:— Second Men's Grade Beckenham beat Shirley by 7 sets to 6; Fendalton beat North Linwood by 4 matches to 2. First Mixed B North Linwood beat United by 10 matches to 6; Beckenham beat Elmwood by 12 matches to 4; Linwood Avenue beat Burwood by 13 matches to 3; Spreydon beat Woolston by 12 matches to 4.
Second Mixed Edgeware beat Barrington by 9 matches to 7; Kiccarton Domain beat Burwood Park by 15 matches to 1; Fendalton beat New Brighton by 11 matches to 5; North Linwood beat Waimairi by 16 sets to 14.
