Man missing at Taupo
(N.Z. Press Association) TAUPO, March 21. A man is missing, feared drowned, on Lake Taupo. He is Mr Irwin George Lawson, a Taupo builder, whose 15ft motor boat was found drifting about half a mile from the western shores of the lake at 1 p.m. today. The Taupo police said Mr Lawson had gone fishing in the morning and failed to return home. An air search was conducted until dark without success. The search will resume at daylight tomorrow.
