HARRIER TITLES
Competition In Belgium (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The winning chances of thel women’s section of the New. Zealand harrier team, which' will leave for Europe tomorrow, will be considerably advanced by a special race at 'international level which has been arranged for them in Belgium. The Belgian Athletic Association advised this week that its women’s team for the in-| temational championship, plus other leading Belgian athletes, will compete against the New Zealanders at Oudenard on Sunday, March 13. This fixture resolves the major problem facing tour organisers who had not been able to arrange competition for the women in the team. The men’s team is to compete in the Belgian championship race and in another top class race in England.
