Swimming tour off
(N.Z.. Press Association) j AUCKLAND. The proposed New Zealand swimming tour of Japan in May will not be held the chairman of the New Zealand Swimming Council (Mr J. Donaldson) said yesterday. Japan had had to cancel the tour for various reasons, but its swimming officials hoped to invite a New Zealand team some time after 1972. Meanwhile, the New Zealand council will look into the possibility of an alternative trip. “There is a possibility of a team going to Australia- in the winter season,” said Mr Donaldson.
