Walker (Edirne) not long back in the saddle after breaking a leg last year, was admitted to the Wanganui Hospital with a suspected fracture of toe arm. G. Ace (Silver Heart) was not injured, but M. Campbell suffered severe bruising and had to forgo further riding engagements, ineluding one for Rich Return, toe winner of the Flying Handicap.
