AXEMEN FOR SYDNEY
(N.Z. Press Association) HOKITIKA, February 7. The top eight under-hand axemen in New Zealand completed at Hokitika yesterday in eight heats for the selection of the three under-hand cutters for the New Zealand bushcraft team to take part in the Sydney Royal Easter Show. The team named is: W. Carran (Southland), W. Curtain (West Coast), and J. Bentley (Wairarapa). The final trial of the standing cutters will be held at Tokoroa on February 20.
